Pay protection from state govt to central govt

(Querist) 01 July 2017 This query is : Resolved
Sir,
I worked as junior assistant for 8 years in state government where there is no grade pay. I technically resigned and joined central government in the grade pay of 2400. My basic is more in state government when compared to central government. Am I eligible for pay protection? Please suggest me with required data. Thanks in advance.

Refer the service rules of department you joined.

well you approach the authority officer where you worked by writing , if you not satisfy their reply, then find a legal remedy by labour oriendented local lawyer

Agreeing with experts.
The employee should download he service rules and maintain access to a very able local senior counsel of unshakable repute and integrity specializing in Labor/service matters.

I joined state services on 07.01.2005 and in central services on 14.10.2015. My basic pay in state government when I relieved was Rs.21640/- & the basic pay in central govt was 7510+2400=9910 before 7th Pay Commission.

What about the DA as on 14.10.2015? Protection of pay can be only in the context of total salary , DA included.
vinay (Querist) 03 July 2017
My DA rate in state government is 8.908% as on 14.10.2015 . Where as DA rate in Central govt as on 14.10.2015 is 119%
vinay (Querist) 03 July 2017
As on 14.10.2015 my basic pay in state govt Rs.21820/- and DA rate is 8.908% = 1944... Basic + DA = 23764.
Basic pay as on 15.10.2015 in central govt is Rs.7510+2400=9910 DA rate is 119% = 11793... Basic + DA =21703.
