Mutation of house in trichy

Hello:
I live inn Delhi and my husband passed away recently. We have a house in Tirichirapalli inn his name. I would like to know what is the procedure for mutating this property. Ii have obtained Surviving Member certificate.

On the basis of legal heir certificate, approach the municipality to transfer the property in the name of all legal heirs.
If the property is to be transferred in the name of only one heir, other legal heirs can execute registered renunciation deed.

You have to approach the O/o Authority under whose jurisdiction property falls....................e.g; MC at Tirichirapalli...........

In case of succession of Hindu Male; 1st right is of ClassI legal heirs i.e; Mother (if alive as on
date of death), Wife (if alive as on date of death), sons, daughters…………..
You already seem to have obtained Surviving Member Certificate that may suffice as Legal heir Certificate....
This seems to be simple matter of inheritance ; Intestate Succession......and it might be available on website of authority and death certificate, legal heir certificate are basic requirement.................
You may submit requisite forms/docs under proper acknowledgment and upon satisfactory completion of procedure and docs the authority shall transfer the ownership by inheritance to Legal heirs......
Thereafter obtain latest mutation records showing ownership of share of legal heirs....

You may have to.
Or visit website of authority and speak to the concerned official/higher/highest authority e.g; Estate Officer, Commissioner and check if they shall accept document by post.
The requisite forms/formats may be available on the website or they may agree to supply against fee/postage pre paid......
