Registration of FIR is free of cost.
Whom, when, where and how did you pay the amount ?
Do you have any proof of payment of Rs. 50,000/- for registration of FIR ?

Dr J C Vashista (Expert) 15 July 2020
The police can not refuse to take your written complaint, if refuse, send it to SHO by post by registered acknowledgement due or speed post and keep record of delivery.
If the police do not register FIR on the basis of complaint within 3-4 days of its receipt, report to higher police officers.
It may be followed by filing a complaint before area Magistrate U/s 200 read with application u/s156(3) CrPC.

Have you already paid the amount? Has any receipt been issued?

Police will never never give any proof of such payment.

If the fact is true, illegal act / crime by the person/ department who are watch person of law.
