Difference between Reg Date , Listing Date and Posting Date!

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 09 April 2010 This query is : Resolved
Dear Experts, Please let me know Difference between Reg Date , Listing Date and Posting Date for Case or Petition in High Court!

I am not Law Student, Please don`t ignore this question?
KANDE VENKATESH GUPTA (Expert) 09 April 2010
If you are not law student, it doesn't matter. I hope you posed this question to test your intelligence. However, to my little knowledge, I understood that, Reg.Date means the date on which the case was scrtinized by the registry and the case number was assigned, listiing date means on which date the matter was listed and taken up for hearing, and the posting date means the date to which the case was adjourned. If you are not satisfied, please call me back on my cell:
