hi
i am parag from mumbai, my wife hased filed 498 , 406 etc against me and my family after 1 years of separation, we got arrested and bailed out some days back, i had filed a divorce case in bandra court, and the court has sanction maintainanse of Rs.10 thousand per month. and now i havi lost my job. i salary was Rs 21 thousand.
so what would be the new status of maintainece cauase i have lost the job.

u show ur circumstances to the court which grant the maintenance & definitely the court has reduced the amount of maintenance.

ok thanx ruchi, this is interim maintenance!!!! the C petition is still pending. we are about to reply of her C petition yet....
so,
i want to ask. i lost my job cause of my often court visits and criminal offense, so suppose if i dont get any job further, what would be the status.
and suppose i start freelance work but earning will be very less... the amount of maintenance will be restructure according to my earning????

i do agree with Ruchi, while granting of interim maintenance all these facts of uur current status cant be looked into

file revision petition before concerning sessions court ( if interim maintenance order given in sec 125 Cr.P.C. and raise this fact to the revisional court i.e. u lost ur job.

I go with the opinion of Expert Ruchi.
Apply in the same court for modification of order of interim maintenance showing changed circumstances.
