When you say that the Person is already a Divorcee you should have taken care and pain in checking up and knowing about them fully.You could have even met his Ex Wife to know what happened Really between them.Any how happened is happened.Do Not Force your Sister to Go Back to her husband if you really love her.Waite for some time and then go for Legal Remedies by consulting a local good Advocate.

Talk to the husband of your sister and know his stand what he wants, in your post you said his mother and his younger brother misbehaved with you, don't go so hurry for divorce and maintenance, your sister cann't file divorce within a year of marriage she have to wait for its one year completion, i suggest you set aside your ego and act wisely, take help from your elders, relatives, middle man, common friends etc and solve your problem amicably, unnecessary litigations spoils the relations and life .

Previous marriage of a divorcee should always be enquired and the reasons for his divorce should be ascertained,because U R sending sister into their home.
Engage a good competent advocate and teach them a lesson of their life.

Dear Mr. Joshi, we have tried to resolve this amicably by involving every possible person to this who can help. My sister never got any support from her husband, instead he was also taunting her for not bringing good dowry amount and I have also mentioned that he is alcohol addicted and consumes huge amount of Gutkha, and due to such excessive consumption of Alcohol and Ghutkha his health condition was not good; even he was not medically fit to do any physical activity. Kindly suggest considering this.

if it is so, now your sister has to decide about further proceedings. you dont decide her life mr.vikas..
just speak with her. if she can correct her husband, if she want to reunion with her husband mean try to settle this issue amicably. or may go for further proceedings accordance with law
