Sir,my brother's marraige was fixed 7 days ago.but after talking with that girl on phone,my brother observed that she is not a proper girl for him and he will not be able to live a happy life with her in future.so he denied for the marraige.now the girl's parent are threating us that they will file a case against us telling that we denied for the marraige because of dowry.what shall we do?will my brother will be punishable?

Do not worry, no parents would afford to fie case even though their daughter is not married.
Deal the mater calmly and patiently and cancel the wedding after returning all the gifts of received by you.

Dont worry.
At the most, issue notice that no dowry was demanded or recd,
Boy changed his mind, due to dislike, and no other reason.
It is not compulsory that one must marry, if engaged..

After cancelling the proposed marriage, the question of dowry does not arise, so the complaint by the bride side with the police cannot sustain, accompany with an advocate to the police station when being summoned for inquiry.
