Eviction of tenant from shoping room

Sir,
I live in the Barrackpore Cantonment Area. I want to evict my tenant from the shoping room whose agreement period has expired with the death of the tenant. But now his son has filed a suit seekong protection against eviction.

Plz tell me...Under which Act. & which section tenant can be evicted as the property belonga to Cantonment area.

Do not issue rent receipt to the son of the tenant nor accpet rent from him.
Apaart from appearing in the suit filed by him, you file separate suit for eviction of him u/s 6 of the WBPT Act.

Thank u sir, But WBPT Act is applicable or extends only in w B Municipal Areas & I live in Cantonment Area which is not under Municpal area.....so which Act will be Applicabl to evict the tenant???

You have been advised to file an eviction sit, so contact an advocate locally and consult with him about the eviction suit, he will file the case under the appropriate law, you need not worry about the sections.
