Executor of Will

Whether under a will the whole peoperty can be bequeathed in favour of executor?
Whether the benificiary and the executor of a will can be the same person?
Whether an Advocate can be appointed as an executor?

the beneficieary and executor must not be one person, yes, an advocate can be appointed as an executor

Beneficiary and executor of a will can not be same.... an advocate may be appointed as executor of will, but the beneficiary of that will will not be that advocate, it shows irragularity on its face.

Property can be bequeathed in favour of an executor of a Will.

However, Section 141 of the Indian Succession Act provides that if a legacy is inherited by a person named as executor, he shall not take the legacy unless he proves the Will or otherwise manifests an intention to act as executor.
