Expense amount

My husband has applied for divorce and he deserted me. Can i claim the amount for my expenses for this case? (under 26HMa or any other) . Note: I am workin women.

If there is great disparity between the income of your husband and yourself, then you may be allowed get maintenance and litigation cost.

Perhaps you have mentioned wrong section. You can claim maintenance and litigation expenses during the pendency of the petition under section 24 HMA from the date of application till the decision of the petition but you can claim maintenance under section 125 Cr. PC permanently simultaneously.
