Dear Experts,
I filed application under RTI Act 2005,to SSP Jalandhar for salary statement of his one constable on 13 July 2010.But till now i did not receive any information from this office.Now to Whom i file my first appeal & when? There is commissioner in jalandhar city.Should i file 1st appeal to Commissioner or IG or someone else ? What is the limitation period to file first appeal under RTI Act 2005? Plz guide me properly.

if you do not know the and to whom you should make first appeal,simply address to the Appellate Authority Under the rti act,SSP Jalandhar.
You should appeal within 30/35 days wherein you receive the reply from the pio or from the date when reply was due.
