On my complaint police had registered a case u/s 448,380,506(II) and 34 in the year 2003 for breaking in to my office premises and the case is since then pending in MM's court. I had been approached by the accused to settle the matter. Pl. advice if it can be done and the precaution I need to take to avoid future problems. I hv lost interest due to delay by corrupt MM as he keeps giving dates.

Yes you could do. But it should not be done in such fashion so that in future you may be prosecuted for lodging false complaint.

you are asking legal help from experts and using such abusive language for the judiciary. Mere delay of your case you are using such derogatory words. Mind your language before asking any questions. Magistrate not ask you to come to the court and people like you are the reasons for the dalay in justice.

Dear Experts, You are claiming that MMs are free from corruption. It is not true and every lawyer knows it. Yes there are some rare exceptions.Any way did not intend to hurt your feelings as you are used to it and the poor persons who have to under go ordeal of delays and heavy fee required to be be paid to advoctes will agree with us. For your information two MM's have been transfered due to complaints of foul play for delaying the matter at the behest of accused persons. But then such news are not published. India would have been a diff. country but for those who support corruption in all walk of life and judiciary is no exception. How you can forget Jesica and Ruchika cases where the accused were set free by trial courts but public voice forced higher courts to see that the rot stops at some point. This is a public forum so we can not divulge the names of MMs.
