The application for making a reference to High Court under Contempt of Court Act will be filed in the court of Sr.Div. Civil, in which contempt was committed.

CIVIL CONTEMPT AND CRIMINAL CONTEMPT PETITION CAN BE FILED IN RESPECTIVE COURTS.

A CIVIL CONTEMPT PETITION SHOULD BE FILED IN THE COURT WITH COPIES OF RELEVENT DOCUMENTS AND SUPPORTING AFFIDAVIT. ANY CONTEMPT OF ANY COURT ORDER , WILL BE TREATED AS CONTEMPT OF HIGH COURT AND PETITION CAN BE FILED AT SAID COURT OR HC.
YOU MAY REFER THE PROVISIONS OF CONTEMPT OF COURTS ACT. GOOD LUCK.
