Through this forum I have come to know that the once award is made by lok adalat and if one of the parties is not complying with the terms of the award, the executtion petition has to be filed for enforecement.

Whether the process after filing of execution petition is also like filing and contesting a new case and may take years to decide or some short cum remedy is possible

you have to make an application for execution . it si not like filing a new case.execution proceedings dont take years .

Though it is a new case but the court would only see the nitty gritty of its implementation. No fresh hearing would be made.

Execution Petitions do not take long time as it is very short method.

Execution process is short term, file an execution case in the same Lok Adaalat where order was passed.

It is a new case but not as meant by you.File the execution hopefully it shall not take as much time as any original contested suit takes.
