I have received a emergency notice from a district court stating for my presence in a partition dispute filed my brothers . What is an emergency notice and how does it differ from a status quo?

it may be a notice under an emergent application moved by the petitioners asking you to appear before the court either in person or through your lawyer to record your objection or opinion on the petition, go attend the court on the stipulated date or instruct your lawyer to do so on your behalf and get to know the details through him later on.
