Is your grandfather alive?
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 06 January 2015
If your grandfather has left a will in your favor and has expired, you can get the property transferred in your favor on the basis of will.

Appreciate Your Acceptance.Either you Should Probate the Will in the Court by approaching a Local Good Advocate Or if your self is the Only Legal Heir A Succession Certificate could be Obtained.Consult Your Local Good Advocate with all Documents.
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 09 January 2015
As advised, if you are so much particular about this issue, apply for grant of probate of the Will and on that basis you can apply for mutation of revenue records.
