How will you define 'brainwash'?

'Brainwash' as such is not an offence.

As far as my knowledge is concern is to compel some one to do the act against his will by any mean ie coersion or blackmail etc.Due to which the the person gets into mental disorder which may lead him in trouble. This particular act has happened with me and still going on from last 4 years. please suggest me what to to.I am getting linked with one of my friend named Amit Mehta with whom i had no relation at all.Whereever i go I am Linked with his name.I use to like tis person 10yrs back but 10 yrs is a very long period and i am not interested in him know.

Remove some ideas already in someone\'s mind or some notions set about a particular thing. Secondly, establishing into someone\'s mind what you want that person to believe about and be sure that your brain-washing cannot be washed by any other ideas or anyone\'s tutoring.
if the purpose of brain wash is to commit any offence then
similar provision in the offence of "ABETMENT" IPC.
