Max time delay allowed for appeal

An appeal on Order in a Interim Affidavit passed by a Senior Civil Judge was filed in the Additional Chief Judge Court.

The appeal was numbered, but since a connected matter which can make the Appeal strong was pending in another court. The said appeal was not posted on the Bench of the Additional Chief Judge court although it was numbered.

My query now is what is the maximum time limit for keeping this Appeal pending from coming on to the bench?

There is no hard and fast rule to deal this procedural matter. it depends upon the schedule of the concerned court.
