My Grandfather had a purchased land, he had three daughter, and two sons. My grandfather died long back in 1948, he did not make any kind of Will. My grandmother died in 1992. My uncle left the house completely way back in 1992, after that we have not received any information regarding him. Among all the aunts of mine, two of them got married before 1961. In the year 2009 my father had died.
Presently my family consists of me, My elder brother, amd my mother.
Under this circumstances I would like to know that are my aunt are eligble for property..........
We are Hindu, as well as Brahimin by caste. Our surname is Nath. Our hometown is in Kolkata.
Please advice me with your valuable suggestions ......

There was no right of the daughters in the year 1948 when your grandfather died so they have no right so far as property left by your grand father is concerned.

The property left by your grandfather might have been inherited in 1/3 share each by your grandma, uncle and your father,

Your grandma died in 1992 so her share shall be divided in 5 shares. thus your aunts are entitled for 1/15 share each in the whole property.
