Mr. Chandan,
The query seems to be hypthetical and of academic nature. If not, please give address link of your website as well as the address link of the fraudulent website of your company.
However, you being a legal consultant should also have consulted the IT Act to help yourself. Moreover, if you lodge a report to the Cyber Crine Cell, they won't ask you the section of the IT Act to book your compaint. They would apply the relevant sections themselves.

i m unable to understand why all are responding in this way.
i have posted this question because this has occured with our company (sorry name cant be disclosed at this stage). I am preparing to file an FIR , but posted this only to complete my homework so that i would be clear on subject as i m facing it for first time.

If you are unable to understand with reference to your own style of question, "WHAT IF some one has floated a a fraudulant website," nobody can make a legal consultant understand why all are responding in this way. Your query, "WHAT IF some one has floated a a fraudulant website," is nothing except a hypothetical or academic query when you have not stated the exact problem.
Rather, I wonder on your statement that you can't disclose the website links, which are open even to the public of the whole world and some one is alleged to have floated a fraudulant website of your company also.
What more examples are needed for such a hypothetical query?
However, that is good if you are preparing to file an FIR. That will be better in the interest of your company, if actually there is any such problem.
