SIR,
I GOT MARRIED 1 YEAR AGO.MY WIFE AND THEIR PARENTS ARE DEMANDING TO LEAVE MY PARENTS AND THEY ARE SCOLDING MY PARENTS.SHE IS TORTURING ME PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY.I AM A GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEE.I BELIEVE IN NON-VIOLENCE AND PEACE.SHE USUALLY PINCHES ME AND BEATS ME. I TOLERATED HER 1 YEAR.THEY ARE THREATENING THAT THEY WILL COMPLAINT AGAINST US.SHE SAYS THAT SHE MARRIED BECAUSE OF HER FATHER'S PRESSURE.SHE TREATS MY PARENTS AS SERVANTS AND TORTURES THEM.I HAVE RECORDED HER CONVERSATION WITH HER PARENTS.HER PARENTS ARE SCOLDING ME AND MY PARENTS.
IF I ASK DIVORCE WHAT ARE THE LOSSES.I HEARD THAT I HAVE TO GIVE CERTAIN PART OF MY SALARY.IS IT CORRECT?
DURING MARRIAGE TIME THEY HAVE GIVEN RS-1 LAKH FOR MARRIAGE EXPENDITURE.LATER HER PARENTS ASKED ME TO TAKE RS 4 LAKHS, BUT I DENIED.I TOLD THEM TO DEPOSIT IN HER ACCOUNT ONLY.RECENTLY I HAVE PURCHASED A CAR.I HAVE TAKEN RS 2 LAKHS FROM HER ACCOUNT WITH HER CONSENT. IF I AM READY TO PAY ALL THE AMOUNT, DO I GET DIVORCE.SUICIDE IS MY LAST OPTION.PLEASE SUGGEST ME SOON.

you have said that your wife physically assaults you . next time she does it lodge police complaint against your wife . obtain medical certificate of the injuries you have sustained .
you have not mentioned whether your wife is working or not . if you obtain divorce you will have to pay her maintenance . she may also claim right to stay in shared household .

Marriage is a Liability for Man and asset for Wife.
MCD is the only way left for u, if both of u r not happy with each other.

Buying a car by husband when his marriage is on verge of break may attract handsome alimony.The story you state affords a ground
of a divorce but better short out a course of mutual consent divorce,or collect evidence of her beatings and file the divorce.

sir,
At the time of pinching and beating I didn't lodge a complaint.But I have audio evidence , while she was talking to her relatives, I didn't do it because of respect in the society.No husband gives a complaint even he was beaten and pinched(blood come out of the skin). She is unemployed. How much do I have to pay after divorce.She is not agreeing to look after my parents.Is there any law supports this point? If I have audio evidence of beating and pinching can I show this as a evidence?
Please sir help me.

stay in a rented flat with your wife . the flat should be near your parents residence . try for reconciliation . if it fails then file for divorce on grounds of cruelty . the maintenance to be payable by you would depend upon your income , whether you have dependent parents etc. since your wife is not working you will have to pay her maintenance

Sir,
I am staying at government quarters at Tamilnadu. My parents are above 60 yrs age and unemployed ( they were done labor work to look after me.).They are depend on me.My home town is Andhra Pradesh. Now parents are staying with me for three months.We are three brothers.Compare to other brothers I am in a good position.I get salary around 40,000 pm.How much do I have to pay for maintenance? If she gets second marriage, after that also I have to pay the money for maintenance. How many years do I have to pay money ? Whether the audio evidence is enough as a proof of cruelty.Please guide me.
