Arbitration ?

Can one initiate Arbitration process unilaterally If there is a MoU mentioning the arbitration clause and other parties to it refuse to go for arbitration ?

Which is better forum for arbitration as a friend has suggested Bombay Chamber of Commerce, Mumbai. Pl suggest alternate options in Mumbai.

You can leave the choice of appointment of arbitrator to the court.

Mr. Barman, With due respect to your experience pl. advice if there is any other way as well as what court will do if others involved don't move forward with arbitration ? Can arbitration be enforced if it is part of MoU ?

Yes, it can be enforced if you act upon the MOU.
You can mention the name if any individual as arbitrator.
The arbitration service given by the Chambers are really expensive and generally big industrial house appoint them.
