Threat to life

(Querist) 12 August 2013 This query is : Resolved
Dear experts,

My son is fighting divorce case in trail court. The family of my daughter - in law issue us threats to kill us. Threats have been made on cell phone (recorded), on facebook, by SMS and on landline phone, time to time. We have made complaints to Comm. Police where we staying. Now after getting themselves satisfied, police has registered a criminal case against father of my daughter in law under Cr. p c 107/150. Kindly make me aware what does this mean and with this action of police,is my life safe even if I visit the place where parents of my daughter in law reside, where they have lodged multiple cases in police stations and in court? For your info, we have been given police protection when we visit trial court where divorce petition is in progress. The city where trial is proceeding is 150 km away from home town of daughter in law as per instructions of Supreme Court.

File a criminal case under section 200 read with section 15 (3) criminal procedure code before the local trial magistrate.
