This query is : Resolved
i am a govt psu employee likely to be terminated on grounds of a alleged mishap and being offered "compulsory retirement".
my question is wether this will come in my way of getting another govt job. does cr mean some ineligibility to all jobs from other govt psu's in future too??

You would be lucky if you get compulsory retirement as a punishment, rather than dismissal from service, in a disciplinary case. Only dismissar puts a bar on any further Government service, not retirement of any kind. On compulsory retirement, you would be entitled not only to get all the retirement benefits for the service rendered by you, but also that would not debar you from entering in to any other Govrnment service, provided your experience certificate, if required to be issued, does not indicate the reason of compulsory retirement.

Agreed with Mr.Dhingra. But though there is no bar for entering into any other Government service, naturally people will not look into the exact reason and they (recruiters) take general view that something fishy happened. They will avoid risk by taking you into employment. Academically there is no bar for an employee who is discharged under CRS to enter into any service.
Offering CRS in a PSU without charge sheet is not possible. It is a punishment for alleged actions on your part. If you have strong reasons that the proposed CRS is not justified, first fight with the PSU instead of accepting it. Give me full details so that I will come back to you if I am of any use.

There shall not be any derogatory comment in the retirement letter so there shall not be any problem in getting future job.

Better accept compulsory retirement. It is better than long litigation and tension.
