sir my land situted in tamilnadu.the pathway for this land belongs government itis 7meters width and 192 meter long.my oppsite land owner encroche the path way 5 meters wdth and put barricade. the a register clearly mention it is arasu promboke pathai. now what i can do to remove the encrochement. what is the civil procedure to remove the encrochement

you have complain to muncipial authorities about encroachment . if no action taken file writ in HC against muncipal corporation for failing to remove the encroachments

Apart from that you can file civil suit of recovery as well.

You can approach Municipal authorities and District administration for removing the encroachment. On failure may approach High Court.
