Sbi card - wrong billing amount & nobody has replied till date.

(Querist) 27 April 2014 This query is : Resolved
Hi, I want to lodge a complaint online on SBI card.
The outstanding amount which they are proclaiming is wrong.
In connection to this I wanted to know how they calculated it & may be I could be wrong for which I have sent several mails asking to resolve the query on their designated contacts mentioned on website (feedback@sbicard.com & NodalOfficer@sbicard.com). But till date I have not received any reply from them.(I also informed them that I have relocated to UAE for Job so please contact on email ID or UAE contact no) I have also posted the same on their fb page on which somebody replied and I thought now my query will be addressed but nothing has been addressed instead they are calling on my India no which is now with my Mom. I am really pissed off The outstanding billing is more than 17K Rs as per my calculation. I really want to get rid of this. By paying off completely but on the right amount and closing it. Somebody please advice and help. Thanks in Advance

File a case in consumer forum and then see them coming with proper calculation.

Subsequent to email that you are no more in India and having given your new number you may shoot another communication by email that M/s SBICPSL (SBI) Cards is still making calls at phone number:.........................that is no more your number and any communication made at this number shall be deemed as breach of card security.

Demand a written reply by email.

M/s SBI Cards does not want to reply in writing hence they are trying to create a record by calling phone number (your mom) so as to prove that they had called the registered number.

As rightly suggested by Mr. Barman issue them a notice and pull them to DCDRF.

I have already given them many mails to inform That I have recently come to UAE for Job mentioning to contact me via mail and UAE contact no. But they are not replying by mail neither on my UAE number instead they are contacting my India number. should I still continue to pay the dues knowing that the amount is wrong. I may be wrong but atleast I was expecting a clarification on the same which I am not getting.

Their silence over the issue makes your case strong in consumer forum.

Devajyoti,
I have posted my complaint on consumer forum.
What should I do now ?
I am bearing unnecessary interest on wrong billed amount.

if you have already filed your complaint in consumer forum against bank then it will have to file its reply . case will proceed on merits
Kumar Doab (Expert) 27 April 2014
you have filed your online complaint in DCDRF (populary known as Consumer Forum.................Consumer Court)?

OR

Some online private portal for citizens/consumers to voice their complaints? If yes then it is not consumer court (DCDRF) and company is not under any legal obligation to file its reply!
Devajyoti Barman (Expert) 27 April 2014
Yes, check whether you have file case or raised your complaint in some NGOs on same name.

You should file complaint with the consumer forum and follow it through your lawyer.
