Companies Act 1956

(Querist) 12 November 2009 This query is : Resolved 
Dear Sir/Madam,
I would like to know whether Section 283 subsection (h)of Companies Act 1956 is applicable to a private limited company which is not a subsidary of a public limited company.

No it is not applicable subject to if the company has provided for the same in the articles of Association.
