Dear Sir/Madam,
In my 10th class certificate, my date of birth wrongly mentioned including month and year.
I have birth certificate from hospital where i was born and the same was also mentioned in municipality records.
Now after 18 years, how i can change my date of birth. At that time we didn't show interest to change my date of birth.
False date of birth was mentioned in my passport,PAN.
Request you Pl provide me your valuable suggetions.
Regards,

You have to make an application to the Board through your Head Master of the School submitting all the relevant evidence asking for correction. Normally they may not do now as considerable time is elapsed. Basing on their reply, you file a suit for declaration in the court of law for declaring correct date of birth and directing the concerned authorities to make correction.

It will not be easy to get it rectified at this stage on all documents including passport. In stead of creating new ambiguity by different DOB on various documents, continue with the same.
If not possible get competent court orders for rectification of DOB on various documents.

after 18 years no rectification will be done by school board . you will have to obtain court orders for rectifcation of your date of birth

The experts are right that it s too late to get the documents rectified with correct date of birth, instead a court order upon a suit for declaring the correct date of birth on all the certificates will be the best remedy. If it does not make any significant difference at this stage, ignore the issue.
