Record of FIR

Respected experts, kindly tell- Consider an FIR registered in some police station in which no action taken is taken for years. If we do't know which police station it was and want to know its status what shall we do? Will that record be avialable in police stations of some other jurisdiction? Are the records of FIR computerised? Thanks

File a case in Judicial Magistrate Court u/sec.156(3)Cr.P.C.with praying your complaint may treat as an FIR.

Someone said he filed FIR on my cell number for some reason 1.5 years ago so want to check if it was really registered or not

Someone gave a msg to your mobile that he filed FIR against you one and half year back. Now you have posted in expert platform. If no action is taken why do you worry. It might be mere leash of threat. Do not use this platform for this type of silly problems instead of applying your mind.
