divorce query

(Querist) 10 May 2015 This query is : Resolved
Hi..I m male,29 years old married. My wife doesn't want to stay with me as c doesn't lov me anymore. I lov her a lot to settle but in vain. She has filed for reconciliation in court and is calling me for discussion. I doubt she wants this formality to be completed so that after cooling of period she can easily give me divorce. What if I don't attend any dates of reconciliation as I know she is not at all ready for reconciliation.

U say U still love UR wife, better attend. The question here is when she has left on her own, what makes her for reconciliation, instead of walking back into UR house.

@ sainath, she has filed for reconciliation to use it as an instrument /evidence during divorce proceeedings. Also as it is mandatory to go in for reconciliation before option for final divorce, she might be using it.

As informed what will be the outcome of attend
ing as she just wants to use as a milestone for divorce. I have not attended dates. What option she has now? can she file cases against me on popular grounds like DV,dowry, adultry, violence to harass me? if i dont attend dates can i be arrested for adultery as i forsee her to use this allegation against me in the court

U R taxing UR brain with illusions, better avoid it or else U will land into deeper troubles. That's my opinion.Ifs and buts are not the order of UR day.Try for an amicable solution.U R posing questions which are being answered by U only.Hence better act as per the advice of UR local lawyer.

Hi Sainath..there is a reason to it as i knw her intent..as informed i tried my best to convince her but she is not ready to give up..can u pl ans my query..we both are from different places, hence its difficult for me to travel each time to attend dates

A Reconciliation is a confidential meeting between you, the other party, your lawyers if have them, and a judge. It gives you and the other party a chance to work things out without having to go to court. You and the other party meet with a judge to:

identify exactly which issues you agree on and which are in dispute,
explore ways other than a trial to resolve the issues, and
make sure you've both provided all necessary information.

It can save time, money, and stress, especially if it helps you settle your case. It can also avoid or reduce the hard feelings that arise when you have to go to court.
