Hearing date

can anyone tell if there is any provision/act for taking a hearing date on a later date if someone is traveling out of station. In my case it is there that i am traveling from 3rd october to 8 october but my hearing date is on 4th oct so please anyone tell can i take a later hearing by showing my plane or train tickets. Waiting for a positive reply.

since you have engaged a lawyer, inform him about your non-availability on the said date, he will manage to file a petition on your behalf on that date. By the way 4th October is Sunday.
