Mischief section 426 ???

Respected Experts,

I have been getting mixed opinions for MISCHIEF under IPC.
Some allegations of mischief made against opposite party in-person by me where I have made out a case of Section 426 of IPC.

However certain authorities have communicated to me that Section 426 of IPC is no more in existence. It is only 425 and 427.

I would be obliged if the Respected Experts could assist herein

There is no advocate for me, as the complaint is filed in-person against a few men which includes an advocate also

Im aware that 425 to 427 are provisions of MISCHIEF. However some court authority told me that 426 nomore exists.. THATZ my confusion. If you could please explain here.

Sec 426 IPC-1860 Refers to the Punishment of Penalty or an imprisonment for up to 3 month or both.There is No Question of existence of the Section
