Regarding compounding of offence for parking space

Sir we have shops in one of the complex in ludhiana..the complex is built before 1998 ..municipal corporation has demanded hefty amount as compounding fee .if compounding fee is not deposited in 3 days they told that they will demolish the building .what necessary action can be taken..?? Plz advice ...

If you have received a notice on this, you may first give a reply notice denying their allegations, besides seeking time for payment and after that immediately approach a civil court with an injunction petition seeking to restrain the respondent from indulging in such activities other than by due process of law..
