N RAMESH. (Expert) 22 February 2010
This is hypothetical question.

All the eye witnesses turned hostile.
Why? Try to prove the case through other evidence.
Adinath@Avinash Patil (Expert) 22 February 2010
TRY TO PROVE FROM CIRCUMSTANCIAL EVIDENCE,
TRY TO FIND OUT WHY EYE WITNESSES TURNED HOSTILE,WHETHER THERE IS RELATIONSHIP TO ACCUSED.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 22 February 2010
law of land is based upon evedence and if all other witnesses turned hostile even then the complainant should depose his evidence as per actual version so that court may decide the matter accordingly

i do agree with Mr ramesh and Mr Adinath.
The well known rule governing circumstantial evidence is that each and every incriminating circumstance must be clearly established by reliable evidence and "the circumstances proved must form a chain of events from which the only irresistible conclusion about the guilt of the accused can be safely drawn and no other hypothesis against the guilt is possible

If he is a mere informant, he would not loose anything. Why worry when all others have turned against that informant. It is not uncommon in India.

If he is a victim, then he has to prove the incident by evidence and cogent proof.
Sarvesh Kumar Sharma Advocate (Expert) 22 February 2010
