Seperated from wife since july 2010, I have in my locker, some of her jewellary. What procedure i can follow to return it to wife and document the same for once and all.
facing divorce and 498a petion, which i am fighting to prove truth.

the case is before court then you wait and follow your legal adviser to proceed further about it.

When some reference specific arises about jewellary during the proccedings of the case, just state before the judge that you are ready to return jewellary of your wife any time whenever ordered by and under the supervision of the court.

Approach to the Court on next date that your are willing to return the all STREEDHAN and return as per court's advice with acknowledge receipt from your wife.

1. What stand you have taken before the court when seeking bail u/s 498-a regarding jewellery?
2. Is 406 filed against you?
If you have taken stand that you are not in possession of any jewellery, you need to state in a diplomatic manner, as if you were not aware of those ornaments at that time, which you have found to be in your locker now and hence want to restore it.

This was not asked at time of seeking bail.
Not sure if 406 is filed against me, i have not recived copy of private complaint
jewelary are in locker which was last accesed by her, She has claimed x amount of jewellary is with me which I can neither confirm or deny since locker was not open after she left.
Locker contain my document and jewel, I want to konw if i can be proactive and request court help in opening locker.
