Execution of confirmation deed

(Querist) 26 July 2012 This query is : Resolved
Sir,
I bought a flat which was owner's share property of my apartment. My owner along with builder only signed on the sales deed and registration document, his son were not avaliable at that time. now i want to ask his sons to sign confirmation deed.As it was inherited property, what is my right if his sons refuse to sign the confirmation deed? what further action can we take to safeguard my property?

did you consult a local lawyer?

did he advise you to go in for deed of confirmation ?

merely because property is inherited from father does not make it ancestral property .

it could have been father self acquired property which was inherited by the owner who sold the said premises to you .
