How to disregard / be cast off from my own family

(Querist) 31 December 2012 This query is : Resolved
Hi,
Kindly advice me of any possible legal ways to be cast off from my own family on my own will. I wish to be separated from my family (including my sisters and everyone that is related to me).
Is there any way in India (In the state of Karnataka) that may help me to disregard my family (Father, Mother, Sisters etc.)?
Kindly advice.
If any of you (Lawyers) reading this is from Bangalore and is able to help me, then please send me your contact details. I do not wish to be related to my family anymore. Kindly suggest me of a legal solution to this. Thank you...

it is a major decision . why you want to be separated from your family .
you can give it in newspapers that you dont have any connection with your family members . contact a local lawyer

Thank you for your swift response.

Due to personal and family issues, I do not wish to be related with my family anymore.

Is there a specific format and / or matter that I have to publish in the news papers?

Is there a specific clause in the book of law that will / may enable me to complete this task?

What lawyer do you suggest I should see?

Thanks in advance...

contact local lawyer.

You can always do that but that does not have binding effect to save one from matrimonial prosecution or waives his right of inheritance.
If you mention your actual need then may be better advice could be given.

the reason i suggested you contact local lawyer in your city is that you are taking major decision wherein you want not have nay relations with your siblings and parents . you seem to be reluctant to mention facts which led you to take this drastic step .

search LCI data base for lawyers in your city
