Marraige certificate of prior marraige-how to obtain

Marriage of a couple had done long before some 12 years back. They have two children. Now they want marriage certificate. How they have to obtain. Whether they have to register in the sub registrar office afresh giving the marriage date of 12 years back.

thy have to make application for registration of marriage performed 12 years back . fill in registration form . enclose copy of invitation card of marriage , certificate of pandit et c
