I lodged complaint against my husband and his family in Women Cell but on the first day they gave bribe to SHO (who's handling my case) and her Reader. Now after some dates Reader forced me to give a statement that accept dowry case as invalid and accept that the case was about to solve but family members made it complicated. I didn't agree this and came out without signing the statement.
I am worried; firstly they took bribe so will not consider my complaint and secondly I didn't obey SHO orders, what will happen now.
Please suggest what can I do in this situation.

Mam,
Write a complaint against the SHO and reader to the higher authorities, regarding their conduct and make sure whenever you visit their again for the second time, try to record the conversation and use that conversation as the piece of evidence.

you may approach higher official of the police or file a complaint before magistrate for registering the FIR against them due to no action of police.

Meet the higher officials and if the police does not register FIR file direct complaint with the Magistrate.
