Would like to small money lending business at home in TamilNadu state, so please let me know the licence registration cost for capital cost between 2 - 3 lakhs.

If at all there is a law, it would be a local law.

You should obtain licence under the money lendors act from the local tehsil.

Deputy Commissioner is licencing authority under Money Lenders Act.
It would be advisable to consult a local prudent lawyer for better appreciation of facts/documents, guidance and proceeding.
