My husband beat and threw me out of house before running away with our 5 months old baby boy. In short, he is abusive, threatning, alcoholic and not ready to handover baby easily.He wants me to sign some legal docs without questioning, take back all police complaints and court case filed against him and then he would handover child to me!!He is also threatning that he will claim custody of baby after 5 years. My query is that whether I should sign on legal papers brought by him. At most what these papers may be all about when I am ready for divorce without even any maintenance plea and can he reclaim custody of child after 5 years again? What can I do to get permanent custody of my child. I WILL NOT REMARRY. This is slight urgent as he is running and hiding with such small baby.

file a writ in the high court concerned immediately for the restoration of the child. at this time the child of 5 months need you more.

court will see child welfare before passing custody orders!!

But court notice won't reach him as he is on move and we donno his wherabouts. Lawyer says if notice is not received by him at any address, police will take its due course of time tracing him which is a lengthy process!!!!
