lpg to domestic customers are sold under heavy subsidy.
since running tea stall, does not come under domestic use,it is prohibited to use the same,as commercial connections are their for such use. as such the action of the team is correct.

Vandana,
The Tariff for Commercial use of Gas is different from Domestic use.
Government subsidized residential use of Gas, paying from it’s own pocket. It is public money. He is diverting it for his own profit. Tea stall need License.
So inform the Gas Supplier, and he will proceed. U r not a party to it, and hence let the authorised dealer take action.
U may write to head office of gas company (hp, bharat gas or the company the cylinder belong to,) along with copy to local dealer and police stn,
u r law student, start from 1 to 511, whatever sec of IPC applicable . U will get many. If ur interest is limited to law study, it is a good exercise. Also search Citations for misuse of domestic gas connections. Many uses in car. There r many cases. Search yourself , ask ur college lecturer. & Then let ur research papers avlb to LCI Members.
Wish u all the best
