If the school is non-aided, it can have its own syllabus.

it think that you are not aware about the education field......there is one act right to education act 2009 in which it is clearly mentioned that all the aided and non aided schools are covered.......
same thing here also though my daughter is in non aided school.....the non aided school have no powers to select their syllabus but to abide by the state education dept. guidelines except cbse syllabus..
when you are not aware about the facts...dont reply to any of the members querry..in future.
thanks

Mr. author! Kapoor might have not aware about RTE Act but this doesn't give a power to you to dictate to him.
Anyway, the action of the school is ilegal and erroneous and you may make complaint in written to the authorities of the school and no action is taken as desired, make a representation to DEO of the area. I hope desired results shall come out of this excercise.

If the school is adopting GSHSEB syllabus, they can not use any other book recommended by the State Board.
You can give a complaint to the District Education Officer.
