Demand notice

(Querist) 17 April 2012 This query is : Resolved
Hello Sir,

I received notice from my suppliers’ lawyer demanding outstanding payments.
I did not pay him, because he stopped supply me without any notice and I lost my business.
What should I reply to notice?
And whom to reply?
Supplier or lawyer?
ajay sethi (Expert) 17 April 2012
you have to send reply to the lawyer . engage a lawyer to drfat reply to legal notice as he will cover all legal points
Devajyoti Barman (Expert) 17 April 2012
How long does the payment remain in due?
If it is more than 3 years then do not make mistake to send any reply.
Else brief your lawyer about the actual state of facts so he could prepare reply accordingly.
