Guest (Querist) 31 May 2012 This query is : Resolved
sir,
I am central government employee. i got leave and during leave i suffered from disease. i took treatment from private hospital as treatment of Government hospital is very poor. In means time, i informed to my department through post . But my department set a enquiry after joining duty and demands the medical papers. But my department not accepting the medical papers as it was treated from private hospital . My departments demands medical papers from Govt Hospital. As i unable to produce Govt medical treatment papers, my department given punishment to me.
My question is .. is any mandatory that central government employee should take medical treatment from govt hospital even if govt hospital treatment is very poor.?

Did you send medical certificate from private hospital along with lave applicationwell in advance?

Did the deptt during leave period challange the MC and directed you to appear before Govt Hospital.

Taking treatment and getting MC from Govt hospital is different thing.

No it is not must but for availing leaves they can insist that it should be from the Govt. Hospital.

Depends on whether you are a Gazetted or non-gazetted officer.
