my brother is filling for divorce, he is not having his own property, my parents are alive and they have their property. please tell me after divorce, my sister-in-law have any right for share in husbands parental property?

Though not ancestral property for the bahu,yet she has no direct claim over any kind of share in it.

thanks a lot.. i have one more query please, what about gold ornaments taken for sister-in-law in their marriage. she have right for those?

She can lay no claim either to the ancestral property of the husband or to the gold ornaments of the sister-in-law.

@ Ashish Davessar: thnks for your reply.. but here in "gold ornaments of the sister-in-law", i'm referring to my brother's wife as sister-in-law.. i.e. the jewellery taken for his wife.. she can claim for that jewellery?
