I am pensioner-pension Rs.12000-.duducting 6000 emi for housing loan net is rs.6000/- Adding rent on father's property 6000/- leaves Rs.12000/- as my net income. I am default with credit cards to Rs.5,00,000/-I am senior citizen age 63 years.
I am not in a position to pay back for credit card dues. my son,23 yrs and 2 daughters 32yrs and 31 yrs are married.I undertand that they have legal rights to their grandfathers property although in my name since my father,mother expired.
My query is canthe bank attach my pension and the property to recover their dues. Please advice .Thanking you

of course. they can attach your pension /property. but its not possible without giving notice/time.
with in the notice period if you did not repay the due amount mean they will file suit for recovery of money. after the decree they will file execution petition for attach your property.

thanks.I would state that there is a differenence of opinion between experts on the questiion of attaching pension.A section on layers say pension cannot be attached.pl enquire and reply.
Reg.property , it is not my self-earned property and it legally shoud go go grandsons and granddaughters who are of adult age.
what is the legal standing on this ? kindly

As our ld.brother has replied well. I would like add further regarding the ancestral property. Your share in the ancestral property can be attached after the process as above explained.
