I have filed a writ petition in the Delhi High Court. The same has been admitted and notice has been served. What will happen on the next date? When will the counter affidavits be filed?

if writ has already been admitted then the petition will appear on baord in due course . may take couple of years . court must have issued directions to file reply
R.K Nanda Online (Expert) 31 January 2013
respondent will appear on next date and can file his reply also.
Abhay Ahuja (Querist) 31 January 2013
Thank you for your reply, sir.

Sir, my query is not when the next date will come, but rather, what will happen on the next date.

Will the copies be provided to me on the next day. Or will they be sent to me earlier by courier or post?
R.K Nanda Online (Expert) 31 January 2013
if respondent is served then he can send copy of reply to you by courier or post as ordered by court, then on next date court will pass orders accordingly regarding filing of affidavits.
