Society has charged for trasnfer fee

Dear Sir
I have become member of cooperative housing society and I have paid membership and entrance fee.Now I have asked to pay membership fee 50,000/- and when I paid membership fee I got receipt as Transfer fee.I have purchased apartment from builder .Can society charge me transfer fee even when there is no transfer of deed from one person to other??What shud I do?Can I inform Registrar of cooperative court for bad conduct of society?Can auditors of society should be informed ?

complain to registrar . transfer fees cannot be more than Rs 25,000 .
in your case builder has directly sold flat to you . society is bound to admit you as member . nominal charges are payable for admission as member .

Refer bye laws of the society and if over charged complain to Registrar of Societies.

For complaint in Registrar of society ,Should I write to him or should I appoint Lawyer??

For complaint to the registrar, you do not require any assistance of a lawyer.

Fee for the transfer within family cannot be charged by soceity and it violation has been made, make complaint in writing to registrar.

Is it registrar or Deputy registrar to whom shul I write? I have written to deputy registrar about membership and transfer charges in Nov 2012 and till date he has to make order.My advocate went so many times to him and he is now me to report him personally. This is India and we will not be entertained unless we give bribe!!!!When I made on line complaint in the cooperative department of Pune,no answer ??When I enquired on telephone ,I got direction to complaint in Dist.Deputy registrar !!

We have to live and got our problems solved in the environment what so ever exist by facing all its merits and demerits. You may go on writing letters followed by reminders. Send RTI to know the status of your letters. Send copy of all the letters to society and higher officials of the cooperative department.
