respected sir,
my query is: how a treasurer or a secretary resign from their post holding in resident welfare association, and wat are d legal procedure or formalities.... should i make any paper work.... pls suggest me... my RWA is registered under societies act in delhi.
Pls reply ASAP...

They can make the resignation by putting in a paper unless any special procedure is prescribed for in the Bye Laws of the Association.

Momorendum of association of the RWA contain the clause, go through it.
Simply putting up paper (resignation letter) will suffice and no specific procedure/formality is there to resign from the post of secy/treasure untill there is some particular charge, money to be handed over or litigation is involved.

Simple resignation letter will do unless specific procedure is laid down by the bye laws.
